Through its Sampoorna project, Atul Foundation seeks to address the challenges caused by anaemia and the nutritional need of adolescent girls and women.
The Foundation has reached out to ~1,400 women across nine villages in Gujarat through various camps with the technical support of Deepak Foundation.
Recently, a free medical camp was organised at Chichwada; 104 women benefitted through:
– counselling on nutrition and healthy eating habits
– distribution of iron and folic acid medicines
– referrals to specialist doctors
